Terms and Conditions for Hemans Skip Hire

1. **Skip Hire Duration**: Customers are granted a maximum hire period of 14 days for each skip. Extensions beyond this period may be arranged upon request and are subject to additional charges.

2. **Prohibited Items**: Customers are strictly prohibited from disposing of hazardous materials, including but not limited to asbestos, chemicals, paints, solvents, batteries, tires, and medical waste, in the skip. Any attempt to dispose of such items will result in immediate termination of the hire agreement and may incur additional fees for proper disposal.

3. **Skip Overloading**: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the skip is not overloaded beyond its maximum capacity. Overloading poses safety hazards during transportation and may result in refusal of collection or additional charges. The skip must be filled level with the top rim to comply with safety regulations.

4. **Permit Requirements**: Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits required for placing the skip on public property, such as roads or sidewalks. Failure to obtain the required permits may result in penalties or fines, which will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

5. **Site Access and Placement**: Customers must provide clear and safe access for the delivery and collection of the skip. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the skip placement area is free from obstacles, overhead obstructions, and suitable for the size and weight of the skip.

6. **Payment Terms**: Payment for skip hire services is due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed upon. Late payments may incur additional charges or interest fees. Hemans Skip Hire reserves the right to withhold collection of the skip until payment is received in full.

7. **Liability**: Hemans Skip Hire shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of the skip, including but not limited to damage to property or personal injury. Customers are advised to take appropriate safety precautions when loading and using the skip.

8. **Cancellation Policy**: Customers may cancel their skip hire booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date without incurring any charges. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the delivery date may be subject to a cancellation fee.

9. **Ownership and Use**: The skip remains the property of Hemans Skip Hire at all times. Customers are granted temporary use of the skip for the specified hire period only and must not sublet, sell, or transfer the skip to any third party without prior consent.

10. **Acceptance of Terms**: By placing an order for skip hire services with Hemans Skip Hire, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

11. **Modification of Terms**: Hemans Skip Hire reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Customers will be bound by the most recent version of the terms and conditions available at the time of booking.
